The upcoming UI brings an updated QWERTY keyboard interface to your Galaxy Watch with three major input methods – keyboard, dictation, and handwriting. It goes without saying, these input methods are pretty self-explanatory.
Moving on, we see that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch5 supports dual SIMs. You can clearly see the UI element giving access to calling options from both SIM 1 and SIM 2 denoting the same. Next up, the screenshots show an assortment of features that will make it to OneUI Watch 4.5. There’s an accessibility feature for the visually impaired where pressing the home button twice enables TalkBack which essentially reads back the content on the display loudly. Samsung has incorporated a feature for color blindness where you can set it to grayscale or go for protan, deutan, and tritan depending upon what sort of color blindness you could be facing. There’s another accessibility feature for left/right sound balance that allows users to alter responses their watches make on taps and holds.
The South Korean giant Samsung has incorporated the OneUI Watch 4.5 on WearOS 3.5 as an upgrade over WearOS 3 that the current-gen Galaxy Watch4 series uses.
Samsung Galaxy Watch5 Series Specifications, Pricing, and More
Samsung Galaxy Watch5 Series comprises two models i.e. Watch5 and Watch5 Pro at the least. Pricing for the models hasn’t been revealed yet although there are speculations. Accordingly, the Watch5 40mm BT model will peg EUR300 followed by the LTE model at EUR350. The Watch5 45mm will peg EUR350. Moving on, the Watch5 Pro 45mm LTE will be sold at EUR540 whereas the 44mm BT will get EUR490 pricing on it. Samsung Galaxy Watch5 series will make a move from a rotating bezel and will be replaced by a circular AMOLED display as per the reports. Both the variants will be available in multiple colorways spread across 40mm, 44mm, and 45mm casings. Galaxy Watch5 is expected to get a 276mAh battery, the Watch5 Classic will get an amped-up 397mAh battery while the Watch5 Pro will get a top-notch 572mAh battery onboard. There are speculations that the smartwatches will get 10W of wireless charging tech instead of 5W. Next up, the Samsung Galaxy Watch5 series will be packed in with features such as ECG, blood pressure, fall detection, REM stages sleep monitoring, blood oxygen, blood pressure, body composition, and multiple sports modes among others.
