Google Launched Android 11 Finally
Google has released four developer previews of Android 11 before launching the original stable build yesterday. The company has announced to roll out this final update to not just Pixel devices, but also a wide range of other handsets from other OEMs. The names include OnePlus, Realme, Oppo and Xiaomi for now, and may expand further later. Besides Pixel 2, 3, 3A, 4 and 4A, the new Android 11 is coming to Oppo’s X2, Reno 3 and its sub-brand’s high-end piece, Realme X50 Pro. Further, it’s coming to Mi 10 and 10 Pro, that are currently running beta versions of Android 11 based on their updated bloatware – MIUI 12. Also, the Chinese budget premium maker OnePlus is sourcing Android 11 to its latest OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro handsets in Europe, India and North America. Googles promises to bring the latest OS to more phones from other OEMs soon. The maker has crafted Android 11 to be more productive rather than new features. A major focus here is set to making conversations easier, as it introduced chat bubbles and prioritised chats to a dedicated section in the notification panel. Further, important chats can be pinned on that section to never miss updates from them! Alongside, it made the data collection of apps stricter with letting the user give them certain permissions only when necessary. Also, it has integrated the Android Auto support to Android 11 handsets and brought controls of all connected smart devices to one place.
