Asus has first introduced the ExpertBook B9 in the CES 2021 event held in January as the lightest 14-inch laptop in the world. Now that it’s here, let’s take a look at it.

The Asus ExpertBook B9 2021 boasts a 14-inch FHD LCD screen with a 1920 x 1080p resolution, 300nits brightness, 94% screen-to-body ratio, and 100% sRGB color space. The ExpertBook B9 offers to select between 11th Gen Intel Core i7-1165G7 and Intel Core i5-1135G7 motherboards. The laptop comes with Intel Iris Xe graphics, 8GB/16GB LPDDR4x RAM, and dual NVMe PCI 3.0 SSD for 2TB disks. The laptop is available on Windows 10 Pro and Windows 10 Home platforms. It has built-in speakers tuned by Harman/Kardon audio. The wireless connectivity options with the ExpertBook B9 are Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0. For I/O connections, the machine includes two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a USB 3.2 port, an HDMI 2.0b port, and a 3.5mm combo audio jack. In terms of build quality, the Asus machine meets the US MIL-STD 810H military-grade standard and has a weight of 1.005kg. The ExpertBook B9 (2021) comes with a 720p HD web camera, backlit chiclet keyboard, fingerprint scanner, and supports Cortana and Alexa voice assistants.
