A report by 9to5Mac claims that iPhone 14 series Pro and Pro Max models might have 48MP camera sensors. If this happens, then not only will it be Apple’s biggest sensor in its camera but it will also increase the size of the bump of the camera module. ALSO READ: Who won Oscars 2022? Check out winners and OTT platforms where you can Stream Oscars 2022 Movies Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo explains the increase in the size of the camera bump saying, “The main reason for the larger and more prominent rear-camera bump of the 14 Pro/Pro Max is upgrading the wide camera to 48MP. The diagonal length of 48MP CIS will increase by 25-35% and the height of 48MP’s 7P lens will increase by 5-10%.” Kuo’s tweet also claims that a 48MP lens could come to the iPhone 14 Pro Series and not the vanilla iPhone 14 Series. Researcher Jeff Pu in his research note also claims that the devices will have a 12MP ultrawide and a telephoto lens. He said the smartphone would support 8k video recording. He expects Apple iPhone 14 Pro to have 8GB RAM and the base model would have 64GB storage. Mac Rumours’ report claims that the iPhone 14 Pro Max will be 77.58mm in width and 160.7mm in height. It will be thicker than the current high-end iPhone. It will have a 120Hz refresh rate and will be powered by an A16 Bionic chipset. iPhone 14 Pro will have a 6.1-inch OLED display with 1170×2532 pixels resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Also, Apple is expected to expand its A16 chipset to the iPhone 15 line-up next year too. Ross Young claims that chances are strong that Pill and Hole would be smaller in 2023. However, there are still about 6 months to go for the launch of the iPhone 14 Series so all this information should be taken with a pinch of salt.
