Netflix always keeps serving to make the home viewing experience of its consumers better and in the same league, the OTT giant has now partnered with a German audio brand Sennheiser to bring spatial audio technology to its catalog for over 21 million subscribers around the world. “Often the subtlety of sound goes noticed, but it can have a profound impact on the atmosphere of a scene and fundamentally change the audience’s response,” Netflix explained while announcing spatial audio support. What will spatial audio do?
Spatial audio is a 3D audio technology that creates an even more immersive soundscape by using dynamic head-tracking for a cinema hall-like experience. No matter which device you are using, you can watch your favorite content with spatial audio, provided the fact that the title supports spatial audio. Currently, spatial audio has been rolled out for select titles but will soon be available for all.

To find out which titles support spatial audio, just click on the search bar on the Netflix app and type ‘spatial audio’ in it. This will display all those titles which have support for spatial audio.
